The Community Television Association of Maine's bill, LD1371 has passed the Maine Legislature and is now Maine law. The bill had bipartisan support and is a concrete step to halt channel slamming. It will also improve the signal quality of local access TV stations across the state by ensuring that they are available in HD and should improve cable/Internet access in rural areas.
